Headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Haris Al Afaq is one of the Megger Group’s oldest distributors in the world. Starting in the early 1980s with sales of Insulation Testers to the Oil and Gas industry in Abu Dhabi, we have grown into one of Megger’s largest and most important distributors in the world. The territory covers the U.A.E, the Sultanate of Oman and State of Qatar for Megger’s entire product range.
As the sole exclusive Megger Distributor in these countries we are proud to be part of Megger’s commitment to the region. As you may know, the Megger Group has been expanding over the years (actually from more than 130 years ago!) and we were privileged to represent some of the companies even before they were acquired by Megger.
Offices, Warehouses and Staff
Offices in Dubai, Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi city and Ruwais service the UAE through a large direct sales team, as well as technical staff to provide demonstrations, training and support. Warehouses in Jebel Ali and Ghusais, and the office in Abu Dhabi provide ex-stock availability for the lower end Megger items (typically the hand-held low voltage products). The higher end items are delivered directly to us from the factories in the UK, Sweden, Germany and the US
Repair and Calibration
Our two UAE Calibration labs (in Dubai and Abu Dhabi) are ISO certified and provide calibration services for most of the lower end of the Fluke Industrial range. We are also one of Megger’s Authorized Service centers in the region. Anything that cannot be calibrated or repaired in house is fully supported by the factories in the U.K, U.S.A, Sweden and Germany. Regular back and forth shipments between us and these factories mean a fast turnaround time can be achieved.
